Black Friday indicates the start of Christmas. This year, Black Friday falls on 5th December (the first Friday after Thanksgiving).

Shopping is fun! In fact, we at TheNewColour are addicted to shopping!
Since the team is scattered around different time zones, we make a date with each other, once a week, where we get together and flee the online shopping world. LOOK OUT EBAY! HERE WE COME! (No, don’t be silly. Good fashion bargains are definitely not found on EBAY!) The long email threads will go on for hours and finally, we make decisions and wait patiently for the shipment to arrive. As experienced shoppers, we know our measurements and are always confident with our online purchases.

Uncool Reason No 1:
I hate crowded shops - well, it’s one thing to be bumping into people at every corner of the shop, it’s another to have selected five fabulous pieces and to be put off by the long queue at the check-out counter.
Uncool Reason No 2:
Traffic. I come from a place (Kuala Lumpur) where traffic can be crazy. You could sit in the car for 30 minutes, and spend the same amount of time looking for a legal spot to park your car. During those occasions, I dream about hiring a personal shopper. However, thanks to the wonders of the internet, I no longer have to worry about where to park my car!
Uncool Reason No 3:
Your favourite shop has published it’s latest collection online. You fell in love with that gorgeous satin dress with a phoenix print. The perfect dress for your cousin’s wedding. Only when you arrive at the shop, the dress is sold out. What do you mean it’s sold out, you just advertised two days ago! GRRR!!! I grab what I see now.
And sometimes at work, I sneak a few minutes during lunchtime browsing through my favourite online shopping haunts! Hee Hee!
